With more than 300 participants from all continents, the International Congress of FIBEP is the most important showcase for the technologies of this emerging industry.
Pervoice that is a leader in the field of automatic speech recognition applications for monitoring broadcasting in Italy and abroad, presents, in sessions devoted to its major customers, the excellent results obtained in 20 languages developed with the use of Deep Neural Network and the new management tools of keywords, called MyListWeb - BM (Broadcast Monitoring edition).

(Trento) - PerVoice announces the introduction of two new technologies that significantly improve the performance of its Audioma©-Box transcription system, both in terms of accuracy and speed.

The technology "Deep Neural Network" improves the performance of transcription accuracy due to a higher precision in the identification of the phonemes of the spoken language.
At the same time, to improve the speed of transcription, PerVoice introduces a technology that allows the use of graphic cards (GPU - Graphical Processing Unit) that can be found aboard of many computers.

The results, which depend on the language and the application domain, are significant: for example, for the Italian, the Word Error Rate decreases by 31.3% relative and this means that up to an error on three is recovered by the system. Together, the speed increases of 29.4% using the on board GPU, making it less expensive to purchase the hardware necessary for the use of the system.

Starting from the first week of May, Pervoice will make available to the market the version 1.7 of Audioma©-Box which includes the technologies mentioned above.

(Brussels) – PerVoice partecipates in the STON project funded by the Flamish Radio and Television Organization VRT (Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep organisatie) and IWT (Flemish government agency for Innovation by Science and Technology)

With the first partner executive meeting, has now take off the R&D project STON (Spraak-en Taal techologish Onder titelen in het Nederlands: Speech and Language Subtitling Technology in Dutch).

The aim of the project is the realization of an advanced "cockpit" prototype for different subtitling workflows which widley uses Automatic Speech Recognition technology.

The consortium that won the tender for devenlopment of the project consist of two companies located in Belgium (Devoteam and Limecraft), two Flemish Universities (Leuven and Ghent) and Pervoice.

Pervoice, which is the only foregin partner called to be parto of the Cosortium, will partecipate in the realization of the mail system and will devenlop a subsystem to automatically sychronize audio and text, when this is already avaiable (i.e. movie script).

The project involves an investiment of 770k Euros and will be completed within the next 18 months.
